Meet Georgina Brown

From Georgina:

"Hey little black girl,

You CAN become a medical doctor.

You CAN become a scientist.

You CAN become BOTH a medical doctor and a Scientist.

You may be first in your family but you won’t be the last.

Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not possible because it is.

You’ll walk into many spaces and feel uncomfortable but as times go by you will adjust to it.

You may never met someone like you who achieved your aspirations but YOU CAN.

Keep dreaming little black girl.

You are meant to do great things 🖤

~ your black student physician-scientist in training.
